The EVA Walk for Life 2025 was held on 7th December 2025. The Walk commenced with the EVA team gathering in prayer, seeking spiritual strength and receiving final instructions for the day at the St. Joseph’s Forane Church, Powai. This collective moment of devotion led into a solemn time of Eucharistic Adoration, during which the Divine Mercy Chaplet was prayed with deep intention for the protection of every human life.

Msgr. Cyriac Kumbattu, Vicar General of the Archeparchy of Kalyan, addressed the participants with an inspiring message underscoring the sacredness and dignity of human life. His words reinforced the purpose of the initiative and reminded everyone of the honour and responsibility of bearing witness to life in today’s world. Following this, Fr. Paul offered further guidance, shared essential instructions, and ensured participants were well-prepared. Kits were then distributed to all attendees, containing prayer and roadmap cards, Garbadrithi flyers, Precious Feet badges, Jeevan Ki Kahani, a deliverance prayer card, a cap, water bottle, and mask.

With great enthusiasm, the Walk for Life was formally flagged off by His Grace Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurackal, Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archeparchy of Kalyan. Participants proceeded in a peaceful, prayerful procession. Throughout the route, the group paused at various key prayer points, particularly near abortion and IVF clinics. At each stop, heartfelt prayers were offered for unborn children, expectant mothers, families in distress, healthcare workers, policymakers, and for a society that upholds and protects human life from conception to natural death. The atmosphere remained reverent, reflective, and hopeful throughout the journey.

The walk concluded at Mother of Victory Church, Tikujiniwadi, where participants once again assembled in Eucharistic Adoration. His Grace Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurackal imparted the Eucharistic blessing and delivered a profound message, reminding everyone that being pro-life is a continuous, daily commitment, expressed through compassion, respect, and the choices one makes. He encouraged the faithful to embody Christ’s love in their homes, workplaces, and communities, nurturing a culture that honours every human life.

Afterward, the participants renewed their Pro-Life Pledge, reaffirming their dedication to the cause. A sincere vote of thanks was delivered by Joel, acknowledging the support, participation, and collective effort of everyone involved. The walk was then dedicated to the Mother of Victory, entrusting the mission to her intercession. The meaningful evening concluded with dinner, bringing to a close a spiritually enriching and mission-driven Walk for Life 2025.
